Purchased this bullpup stock mostly because I’ve wanted one for several years. I originally bought a HTA 90/22 stock and was happy with that.  The ZK-22 feels better  than the other one. It takes a while to install, but it’s worth it. Be sure to clean the crap out of your 10/22 before installing, because you won’t want to take it apart to clean it afterwards. The trigger is better on the ZK than the HTA.  Neither feel like a cheap plastic toy, but the ZK did have some sharp edges that needed sanding smooth. I kept the factory 18.5” barrel to keep overall length legal, but have since ordered a WhistlePig barrel 18.5. Read other reviews, I did have to sand the trigger bar, but not the channels. Hopefully this helps anyone thinking of purchasing the ZK-22 stock, you won’t be disappointed.

The order took a whopping seven weeks to complete. Aklys Defense was out of a crucial part required for the stock and had created such a large backorder for them that they actually created a waiting list for the product.
We put the product together and took it out to test. The 3.5lb trigger pull I had originally with my Ruger BX Trigger had turned into a 14 plus pound pull that did not reset after a single shot. After looking online we found out that the fit on the bullpup was so tight for other users that they had to resort to sanding down the interior, especially in the areas around the trigger bar. Hours of sanding later, we had managed to restore the 3.5 pound pull.. It fits together perfect now.
Sand down the trigger bar and the track. Also, when using the charging handle that comes with the bullpup make sure that you pull the handle all the way forwards, as the tab that engages the factory charging handle can interfere with brass ejection while firing and cause a jam.
