Pike Arms Extended Fluted Charging Handle for Ruger® 10/22® rifles and Charger™ pistols. They are machined from aircraft grade aluminum and skeletonized for maximum strength with minimum weight. Machined for a perfect drop in replacement fit in place of the standard factory cast steel charging handle with no gunsmithing required. Provides a non-slip grip and easily handled even in cold weather with gloves on. Comes complete with a precision CNC machined STAINLESS STEEL GUIDE ROD and a TARGET RECOIL SPRING.

Charging handle binds up on the guide rod.  Very difficult to cycle by hand.  Often hangs up or completely locks the bolt open when firing.  Replaced with the factory charging handle and all problems were resolved.
