18.5" CZ 457 NF TH Black Matte January 28, 2026 Reviewer: Song V from Camarillo, California   After several hundred rounds of testing and the barrel settle in and shoot reasonably well, depending on ammunition selection. I also perform light cleaning approximately every 200 rounds. All testing was conducted at 50 yards using the following ammunition: Aguila Target Competition and CCI Standard Velocity. These shot adequately, averaging approximately 0.75–1.25” groupings. Federal AutoMatch (white box) surprisingly performed well, averaging around 0.50–0.80”. SK Long Range Match and SK Rifle Match. Both shot well, averaging under 0.8”. However, my factory CZ barrel was significantly more consistent and averaged 0.4” or better. Eley Match (black box) and Wolf Extra Both performed similarly, averaging around 0.7”. Lapua Center-X and Midas+ These produced the best results, averaging approximately 0.5” at 50 yards. That said, I do believe the barrel has little more potential over the factory barrel. Was this review helpful to you?

Appearance & Performance April 13, 2024 Reviewer: Douglas Reynolds from Nazareth, PA United States   The barrel is very nicely made and the thread cap blends perfectly with the barrel.  I've had it to the range only once so far and had nearly ideal shooting conditions.  I ran four different ammos through it -- SK Standard+, SK Rifle Match, Center-X, and Federal UltraMatch.  While I got a few good groups (5 shots at 50 yards), most were over an inch and there seemed to be little consistency in placement or group-to-group.  So the jury is still out.  Will be trying it again before I give up on it.  Is there any sort of accuracy guarantee? Very Pleased February 25, 2024 Reviewer: Thomas Whitcombe from Bath, PA United States   I had a 24 inch .17 Hmr on my Cz 457. I ordered a 18.5 .22 mag barrel from acculite. The 1st shot at 100 yds was on paper. Within two shots it was zeroed. This rifle is unbelievably light now. Very impressed Was this review helpful to you?

18.5 inch .17m2 NF TH February 8, 2024 Reviewer: Gerald Dickersonb from Mebane, NC United States   This combined with a 457 Sythetic gives me a 5.4 pound bolt action rifle that is shooting in the MOA range at 50 yards with Hornady ammo and even better with Eley...very pleased... Great Barrel ! December 12, 2023 Reviewer: DW from Jacksonville, FL United States   I had been looking for a .22 magnum barrel for a while. I found out about this company and saw they could be chambered in 22 mag plus threaded at a very good price. So far I have been able to get under 3/8 at 50 yards. Next time out I will try 100 yards. 18.5" Mach 2 November 6, 2022 Reviewer: Greg Campbell from Carl Junction, MO United States   Followed the break-in instructions sent with the barrel, then at 50 yards was able to produce 3/8-in groups consistently. I then turned my scope to the berm behind the hundred yard line, and was easily able to pick off little orange sporting clay chips. Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome Barrel May 17, 2022 Reviewer: David Barnes from Jeffersonville, IN United States   The barrel was delivered quickly and went to the range that day. It was easy to install and after 15 different websites the common consensus was to tighten to 30 to 35 foot pounds. The barrel the Best end cap I have seen. The groups being tighter than the factory barrel is a question I cannot answer. I went from a .22 WMR to a .22lr. The finish is good and it shoots really well with good ammo. Great Product December 9, 2021 Reviewer: Erik Reynolds from Longwood, FL United States   I purchased the 17HM2 version for my CZ457.  I have not mounted and fired it yet but I couldn't be happier with prompt delivery.  The barrel is as expected (I just purchased a 22LR version of the same barrel and it is great).  I love that Acculite offers these barrels.  They fill a hole in a very small market. 18.5" CZ 455 NF TH w/Cap Black Matte March 13, 2020 Reviewer: John Smith from Indiana , PA United States   I had ordered an 18.5" non fluted bbl for my CZ 455, Louis messaged me and said it was out of stock but offered to send me the upgraded fluted bbl at the same price.
