Even Better Than Expected! July 8, 2021 Reviewer: Mark Redd from Clyde, NC United States   While I've consistently heard great things about whistlepig barrels, I'll be completely honest and say that I initially bought this barrel solely because I wanted a threaded 4.5 inch barrel for a suppressor and this one was in stock. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed, but this barrel surpassed all of my expectations. Once installed, broken in, and sighted in prepare to be blown away. I haven't had a chance to do much shooting recently, but you wouldnt know it by looking at the targets. On literally the first group after dialing in my red dot, this barrel produced a quarter sized grouping at 25 meters from nothing more than a bipod - and I haven't done any serious target shooting since an Appleseed two years ago. Keep in mind that all of this is with a charger that I set up as little more than a fun gun with a binary trigger. I'm so impressed that I'll be making another purchase to upgrade my other 10/22 that's actually intended for more serious shooting. Was this review helpful to you?

Very impressed with it! February 2, 2021 Reviewer: Cole Crisco from Oak Hills, OH   Got the 4.5" barrel installed.  The threads are cut perfectly for silencer co specs and engages the internal o ring on my Spectre II keeping it from backing off at all.  The accuracy far exceeds what i ever expected out of a 4.5" barrel, hitting steel targets at 50-75 yards with ease. Short Stuff February 2, 2021 Reviewer: LG from East OR United States   So glad Louis emailed saying these were back in stock. Barrel measures only 4" from the front of the receiver. Great price, looks awesome and sounds great suppressed. Did not want to spend extra for a fancy aluminum stock so I just chopped my black synthetic one down. Fit was tight on install but was easily fitted with the supplied piece of sand paper. Followed break in directions and and accuracy was excellent for a 4.5" pistol barrel. Shot great with Federal 40gr bulk ammo. Cycled bulk ammo both suppressed and unsuppressed just fine. Sounds awesome with silencer and FA binary trigger. Got all the kinda looks you want at the range. Tested once October 30, 2019 Reviewer: Scott Summers from SARASOTA, FL United States   I had my first testing of my modified charger. I wanted to keep the length short but wanted the end past the PCMAC chassis (multi option). The barrel was about 0.5 inch too short but I found an approx 1.0 inch muzzle device (lunear) to complete the look. Last week was my first test and i was very happy with the performance. It is consistent and super-fun to shoot. I would highly recommend the 4.5 inch barrel from Whistle Pig. Was this review helpful to you?

Exactly what I was looking for July 6, 2019 Reviewer: matthew Bennett from williamston, NC United States   This barrel was exactly what I was looking for on my charger build at first I opened the package and looked at it I was about to wrap it back up and send it back because it wasnt threaded, I gave it a twist and the thread protector unscrewed. The tolerances are so exact the seam was invisible with it on. I use it with my suppressor. The measurement of 4.5 inches is total, including the part that goes inside the reciever so if you are not using a suppressor it may be too short for your plans. The 1/2x28 threads come right to the end of my aluminum chaise. Accuracy is far better than I expected for the length. Im sure it exceeds my shooting limitations for accuracy.
